2009 - 2010 - Special Adviser for the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation. Co-teamleader for Commercialisation of Research at Center for Innovation Policy.

2007 - 2009 - Commissioned as independent member of different EU Commission expert groups to analyse and survey knowledge transfer in EU27. Conducted in collaboration with public research institutions, European organisations and Member States.

1999 - 2001 - External lecturer at the institute for Comparative Litterature and Modern Culture at Copenhagen University.

2008-2009 - Appointed by the EU Commission as independent member and rapporteur to the "Knowledge Transfer Forum Expert Group".

2007-2008 - Appointed by the EU Commission as independent member and rapporteur to the "Knowledge Transfer Metrics Expert Group", dealing with monitoring of commercialization of research results in Europe.

Distinctions:

2007 - Receive Svend Bergsøe Foundation's Mediation Award 2006 on behalf of the Science Café. For outstanding and innovative mediation of science. Read the motivation. Read press announcement. Article in MA Magazine.

2007- Nominated as the only Danish project by the EU commision, during EU's 50 years anniversary, for the Descartes Prize on behalf of the Science Café in Copenhagen for "excellence in science communication". Nominee. Danish Press Announcement. Portrait in MA magazine (internet version). Article in the newspaper Dato.

2004 - Receive the Genius Award from the Danish science journalist organisation on behalf of the Science Café. Given for outstanding and innovative mediation of science.

2004 - Nominated for the Mediation Award 2004 by the IT University. Donated by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.

2003 - Grant for outstanding contribution the year 2002 to the Department of Digital Aesthetics and Communication, IT-University of Copenhagen.

1999 - 2. prize in the publisher Gad's and the newspaper Berlingske Tidende's competition on dissemination of complex subjects to a broader audience.
